Magnavox DVD/Vcr player - A. B. Abelow -
I am very happy with this purchase. It 's a no-nonsense player, it means what it says, should do it, and it was easy to install. And the price was right.

VCR To DVD Recorder - pittypat -
The recorder is probably technically good, but it is very difficult to manage. The guide has instructions short and so many pages that is difficult to follow. A separate page for each choice is given with the same first four or five steps on each. The recorder was so frustrating to work (after trying to record on four separate DVD) that I gave up and returned at Amazon. A technically competent person can use it with a little effort - this is not fora "Senior".

Absolutely awful - Pat C. Ames - Indiana
I received one of these as a gift, tried to set last night. It took two calls to technical support for the DVD tray still open (a kind of special code that got - feel the remote control, try pressing the front panel, and to segregate them, to turn it off, turn it on, blah, blah, blah). After I open the game and I tried a DVD instead of the regular game, jumped on everything and still the top fractions of seconds before the beginning of each chapter prior to the strokethe same thing ad nauseam. Thinking it might be a problem with the DVD, I tried another and same thing happened. Guess the fast forward button jammed. Could unjam. He was told that I need a receipt to obtain warranty service is not (a single). When asked where resolved, I was told to put it anywhere I wanted, as out of warranty.

I got in the garage, smashed the crap out of him and he felt much better. I will never buy another MagnavoxNew product!

Magnavox DVD Recorder/VCR Combo, HDMI 1080p Up-Conversion, No Tuner (Manufacturer Refurbished) Review

I upgraded this model and a few days ago and could not be happier. First, as I refurb unit, it means that someone had a problem with the new unit, which is now resolved. It looks as if I had a new factory model. The One Touch dubbing is exactly what I was looking for. I have many old movies, TV shows, etc. .. VHS. The pop of the band in pop-DVD (DVD-RW I use, but the device is R + R and beyond), press the Copy button and return in a few hours. The DVDCopy actually looks cleaner than the original VHS. DVD-RW discs play in any DVD player I tested. I think the game is talking about other problems because not finalize the disc. DVD-RW, it will eventually deal with other formats. I have this unit under $ 70 including shipping. The exact mechanism of sale in a shop close to $ 149. This is a solid machine, which takes as given. I think you're happy with him.

I had an RF modulator ($ 20) before using this material to buy. Did not ANT. In / Out ports A regualer VCR usually has. This device is designed for use with televisions most recent ones, old ones, without the three pillars of cable connectors. But now that I linked to a larger television, he does my VCR tape and DVD. Now I'm reorganizing with this device for my VCR recordings to DVD format. "Nice"!

This can record DVDs from VHS, but does not have complete DVD buttons. - Gryphon - Utah County, Utah, USA
The remote control is needed for DVD playback with a forward or backward, etc. Just Stop, Play and record on the device are available on the DVD side. The full keyboard is available on the VHS, though. The remote control all functions. It 'difficult to use without them, especially DVDs.

Overall, however, is quite good, and the Magnavox name from a 10.6 rating comes to me. There are better brands, and worse. This brand is not as long as some others, and myMagnavox second device.

2/8/10 - The device does not have its own tuner, although this is not obvious on the ground. I used a separate tuner to receive HDTV signals in hours o. The display is a bit 'weak, but not too hard to read. Recommend Recorders (recordable CDs or rerecordable) in general, DVDs, and those records in 4:3, even with HDTV. Can not be perfect.

This unit killed my belief in Panasonic - Citris1 - Dania Beach, Florida USA
I was a big fan of Panasonic products before I bought this unit. That's why not control user reviews and just bought to have momentum. Big mistake. It 's a nightmare from day one. It is never safe was a record time, because I had. Sometimes it records, sometimes is not. I could never understand why. I should again, but I thought it was something I had wrong. I bought the special Panasonic RAM disks, but did not help.

It isfinally broken down completely. In a sense, I'm happy because now I can stop fighting with itself and throw it away. Not only I, not replace it with another Panasonic DVD recorder, I swear I never buy another Panasonic product again.

WORST DEVICE EVER MADE BY HUMAN HANDS - Lonnie Buchanon - Auburndale, FL
I bought this for three reasons: a) replace my 12 years, VCR, b) using the digital tuner for my old TV, and c) on my VHS tapes to DVD transfer. He failed in all three.

The digital reception is great, but on a conventional 4:3 screen, there are about 1 inch of black border around the image so that the 19 "TV is now a 18" TV. I connected up to 13 "TV in the bedroom. I am not happy. The digital tuner is also incredibly slow to change channels. Surfing is aNightmare. When you change channels, it tends to switch back to the desired channel and then slowly returned to him. The so-called Episode Guide tells you what the next show and the only one. Brilliant.

Sales literature excited saying that has a slot for SD cards, asking me if I could DVR to record as poor, but in small print in the manual (after purchase) that tells you to do everything as JPEG.

If Panasonic parent company Matsushita invented VHSTechnology, for a job so bad bands work this thing? The Sanyo 12 years this device has been replaced still plays tapes is smooth and clear (I only bring the band cares, getting eaten), but this picture has the same band shakes constantly, transfer tapes to DVD means it is is useless because you get jiggly DVD. It is a product of Matsushita, simply remove "Matsu" and "A".

The remote control is so complex, you can not use it without a light. TheManual was written to be read like a dyslexic child too many of these books open space. The device offers a choice of turning completely off or in sleep, the more power it off, so in other words, is still active. Sleep mode is annoying, because the football fans in the middle of the night and scare the crap out of you. The training mode is worse than a show on television, when turned on, you wanted to look too forgotten.

I used to have a great respectfor Panasonic products, and preferred, when possible, but this device to me the point where not only never buy Panasonic products again burned, but I want people to Panasonic responsible for the design of it from their offices are dragged and beaten with sticks.

Panasonic DMR-EZ475V S-U-C-K-S. - Mr. Harry Sarajian -
I bought the DMR-EZ475V 3 years ago for $ 300. It sucks and since I bought it. Very unintuitive. 'S unpredictable, unreliable, and a piece of junk. I have nothing but frustration with its operation was from Day 1

Panasonic DVDR VCR combo - T. MCKINLEY -
Controls are not the same as any other DVD player I've heard. For example, if you want the DVD menu, you must "direct navigator Hit" button or menu.
I've never been able to get the SD card slot to work. And if you eject a device in this category funtionallity remote.

Magnavox MWR20V6 DVD Recorder / VCR Combo Review

This machine is exactly what I ordered. It 'was a color other than photos, but the trains were all equal. It 's a nice machine to use simple, if you have experience with a device before they can otherwise was a bit' intimidation. The instructions are easy to follow, but a bit 'wordy. The functions are not as good as I'd like to have indexed in the manual, but is still manageable.

The instructions will guide you through the process step by step.Once the name for the operation desired by Magnavox follow with no problem. The trick is to find the Magnavox techno-jargon first.

All in all, the machine is not certain what to do. He does so in a reasonable time. It 'a good machine for those who do not just backup or video directly from TV or digital TV with an RSS feed, but not for those who are down and they wantdirty video editing before.

After two years of little use, has stopped working completely.

I Expected More From Magnavox - Froedric - Beautiful, Historic Charleston
This is a decent DVD player, but a DVD recorder or DVD player pathetic. I had the unit for a year and was unhappy experience. The first months there was no problem with DVD-recording, but has been less than satisfactory viewing tapes right out of the box.

approximately two months after the device is not DVD. I tried to do different brands, found different speeds, the cleaning unit, and a number of suggestions in line with the other unfortunate soulsthe same questions. I was finally able to get on with hard drives in my computer and formatting of them was a royal pain to grasp, but now will not recognize the new disk. (And yes, I have tried many brands).

With the purchase of this equipment is a waste of money and be a frustrating experience.

MAGNAVOX DVD Recorder With VCR ZV420MW8 Review

I have dozens of VHS tapes with irreplaceable things, the recording was too much space. I wanted all transferred to DVD. I read reviews, there was some research online, and does not want to spend $ 800. This is what I decided. And so far, is his work.

I had a month now, and made about 30 transfers.

The only major problem I had was a band, a "failure appeared to be" in him. I made three attempts to copy this band, and stopped every time the DVDIncluded in exactly the same place. Just show stopped and went to a screen that the photo was taken. I do not understand, but I thought it was something on the tape that the DVD-stop made in the same spot each time.

Otherwise, I wasted a few slices, but a wrong button - my fault, but down the machine.

I just did the basic dubbing from VHS to DVD, and instructions are quite simple. Yes, it is not enough "Registering One-touch, butis not difficult. After a couple of times I managed to press all the right buttons in the correct order from memory, I'm not in the manual.

The recording quality is good. Many of my tapes are not of good quality to start, so obviously the DVD does not improve, but know that I find the DVD quality on a par with the quality of VHS are. No complaints here.

This is a "complete process, which, according to the instructions, the disk can be played on otherMachines. I have no problem, he had one. (That is, I use this on a TV Magnavox actually make the discs, then I see the glass on a separate TV with a Sony DVD player. The Sony sounds pretty good.)

This is my first VHS / DVD machine, I can not make comparisons with the other.

The only "complaint" I have, and this is rather trivial, is that when a disk in the engine room, through a "process of loading and makes some" thunk, "thunk noise. (My Sony Reader worksnot that kind of noise when I put on a disc) the first CD I have, I thought, "Wow, this is. broke" But apparently not. As I said, this is low.

Overall I'm satisfied with the product so far. I received many more tapes, dubbing, so I hope it lasts. And the price was right - an added bonus.

Yes, I recommend them.

Purchased this unit a couple of family members, copy VHS tapes friend had. Attempt to use to copy tapes to copy the process from VCR to DVD very long time (not just load DVD and then select the source as VHS and DVD hit-and-play set slides VCR DVD) and you must go through a complicated process set-up every time you want to go burn a DVD from a DVD. Would not recommend it to anyone. Poor units.

"I read the reviews and compared prices and the child fits well into two categories.

Basically, as other reviewers, I wanted to transfer my VHS family movies to DVD and without the payment of expenses for each band for some photoshoot or purchase of a much more expensive machines.

It 's easy, and I think it's easy to use. You need the TV to display the menu and see the movie if you have the recording, and if I'm missing something here, asanother VCR to send the signal to burn the DVD Magnavox, that is, one can not just your VHS tape to run in time Magnovox Electron, we host you need an external DVD player.

This is essentially a four-step process to pop the new hard drive (I use + RW): unable to load, choose the recording format, for example, SP-record 2 hours, ready (this takes a minute). And if you're like me, play something to see if you or disorder of the machine. If the game will showHow to use a lot of time on each shot and you want to play. So far so good after running through a dozen of these tapes "used equipment.

The quality is good and as good as the original tapes. I did not hear any unusual noises, and both VCR and DVD players, great work. I must also do our mini-DVD from our camera. Even if the drive dies after the warranty from 90 days, has been easily worth it.

Does the Job for low investment - Cargodog - Oregon
For $ 80.00, used the dubbing - VCR - DVD machine is working well. I only use this to copy my VHS tapes to DVD and it does work. The learning curve is only about 30 minutes, not bad. Wish I had on board for the on-screen menu, you must have a TV in order pugged be able to pass through the device menu. Camera good for copying a DVD, only for the cameras or RCA cable connector and the yellow cable your only ready to go. No need to spend more doubt, but use only Dubbjust as well could be your main unit. No difference in this than using a new, no dents, no stains, as new, and probably.

For $ 80.00, used the dubbing - VCR - DVD machine is working well. I only use this to copy my VHS tapes to DVD and it does work. The learning curve is only about 30 minutes, not bad. Would like to have on board for the on-screen menu, you must have a TV so pugged be able to scroll through the menu for the device. Camera good for copying a DVD, only for the cameras or RCA cable connector and the yellow cable your only ready to go. No need to spend more doubt, but use only Dubbjust as well could be your main unit. No difference in this than using a new, no dents, no stains, as new, and probably.
