MAGNAVOX DVD Recorder With VCR ZV420MW8 Review

I have dozens of VHS tapes with irreplaceable things, the recording was too much space. I wanted all transferred to DVD. I read reviews, there was some research online, and does not want to spend $ 800. This is what I decided. And so far, is his work.
I had a month now, and made about 30 transfers.
The only major problem I had was a band, a "failure appeared to be" in him. I made three attempts to copy this band, and stopped every time the DVDIncluded in exactly the same place. Just show stopped and went to a screen that the photo was taken. I do not understand, but I thought it was something on the tape that the DVD-stop made in the same spot each time.
Otherwise, I wasted a few slices, but a wrong button - my fault, but down the machine.
I just did the basic dubbing from VHS to DVD, and instructions are quite simple. Yes, it is not enough "Registering One-touch, butis not difficult. After a couple of times I was able to press the right buttons in the correct order from memory, I'm not in the manual.
The recording quality is good. Many of my tapes must not start with good quality, then of course the DVD to improve, but know that I find the DVD quality on a par with the quality of VHS are. No complaints here.
This is a "complete process, that is, according to the instructions, the disc can be played on otherMachines. I have no problem, he had one. (That is, I use this on a TV Magnavox actually make the discs, then I see the glass on a separate TV with a Sony DVD player. Sony plays it quite well.)
This is my first VHS / DVD machine, I can not make comparisons with the other.
The only "complaint" I have, and this is rather trivial, is that when a disk in the machine room, goes through a "process of loading and makes some" thunk, "thunk noise. (My Sony Reader worksnot that kind of noise when I put on a disc) the first CD I have, I thought, "Wow, this is. broke" But apparently not. As I said, this is low.
Overall I'm satisfied with the product so far. I have a lot more tapes, dubbing, so I hope it lasts. And the price was right - an added bonus.
Yes, I recommend them.

PIECE OF CRAP - CVP -
Purchased this unit a couple of family members, copy VHS tapes friend had. Tried to use to copy the tapes to copy the process from VCR to DVD was very time consuming (ie not just load DVD and then select the source as it hit VHS and DVD and slide play set for VCR DVD) and must pass through a complex set-up every time you go to burn a DVD from a DVD. Would not recommend it to anyone. Poor units.
Works Well, Great Price - mk - parker, CO United States
I read the reviews and compared prices and the child fits well into two categories.
Basically, as other reviewers, I wanted to transfer my VHS family movies to DVD and without the payment of expenses for each band for some photo service-or the purchase of a car much more expensive.
It 's easy, and I think it's easy to use. You need the TV to display the menu and watch if you have the recording, and if I'm missing something here asanother VCR to send the signal to burn the DVD Magnavox, that is, one can not just your VHS tape to run in Magnovox same time, you're the host you need an external DVD player.
This is essentially a four-step process to pop the new hard drive (I use + RW): you can upload, choose the recording format, for example, SP-record 2 hours, ready (this takes a minute). And if you're like me, play something to see if you or disorder of the machine. If the game will showHow to use a lot of time on each shot and you want to play. So far so good after running through a dozen of these tapes "used equipment.
The quality is good and as good as the original tapes. I did not hear any unusual noises, and both VCR and DVD players, great work. I must also do our mini-DVD from our camera. Even if the drive dies after the warranty from 90 days, has been easily worth it.
Does the Job for low investment - Cargodog - Oregon
For $ 80.00, used the dubbing - VCR - DVD machine is working well. I only use this to copy my VHS tapes to DVD and it does work. The learning curve is only about 30 minutes, not bad. Would like to have on board for the on-screen menu, you must have a TV so pugged be able to scroll through the menu for the device. Camera good for copying a DVD, only for the cameras or RCA cable connector and the yellow cable your only ready to go. No need to spend more doubt, but use only Dubbjust as well could be your main unit. No difference in this than using a new, no dents, no stains, as new, and probably.
